Kaiserreich Submod – Revised National Focus Times
THE PARADOX LAUNCHER IS A FLAMING PILE OF GARBAGE. IF THIS SUBMOD’S CHANGES ARE NOT APPEARING IN-GAME, DO THE FOLLOWING:
First, check to see if anything listed here [kaiserreich.fandom.com] might help. If nothing does, use this kludge:
1. Navigate to your Steam mod download folder. On Windows, this is something like C:Program Files (x86)Steamsteamappsworkshopcontent394360
2. Open the Revised National Focus Times download folder: …Steamsteamappsworkshopcontent3943601412973158
3. Open the common/national_focus folder and copy all .txt files in that folder
4. Navigate to the main Kaiserreich download folder and to its commonnational_focus folder: …Steamsteamappsworkshopcontent3943601521695605commonnational_focus
5. Paste the files you copied from the RNFT download into the KR commonnational_focus folder. When prompted, overwrite the files.
6. In the mod launcher, disable RNFT and enable only the main Kaiserreich mod (and any other mods you use that do not affect the commonnational_focus folder).
7. Because this is a kludge, these steps will need to be repeated every time either this submod or the base Kaiserreich mod updates, at least until Paradox fixes the launcher (don’t hold your breath on that).

3. Copy the Default.txt file
4. Navigate to the Revised National Focus Times download folder: …Steamsteamappsworkshopcontent3943601412973158
5. Open the common/national_focus folder in the RNFT folder
6. Paste the file you copied from the base KR mod into RNFT’s common/national_focus folder
7. Again, as this is a kludge, these steps will need to be repeated every time either this submod or the base Kaiserreich mod updates.

How many times have you found yourself thinking, "Gee, I really wish the national focuses for [Insert nation here] took even longer than 70 days to complete"?
If you’ve thought that more than once, then this mod isn’t for you.
Rather, this mod is for all of us who enjoy getting stuff done as our countries. That’s not to say it’s a ‘all focuses now take 35 days to complete’ mod, however; instead, it tries to balance gameplay and fun (i.e., not sitting around for hours while focuses complete) with in-universe logic (that is, some stuff will naturally take a while to implement). Most focuses take either 35 or 42 days to complete, but some take 56 days to finish, and a few still take longer than that. Nonetheless, the days of playing as, say, Ethiopia and doing nothing for years as you slowly complete one 70-day focus after another are well and truly gone with this submod.
