The year is 1871, and Prussia reunited the various German states under its banner, defeating its mortal enemy, France. As the fog of war fades into the abyss, and Prussia becoming the dominant power in Europe, it faces a far greater threat, a threat it created by itself. France, having faced a humiliating defeat in the hands of the triumphant Prussian nation, was faced with one alternative if she were able to become the glorious nation she once was, by accepting a Union with her greatest rival, England. As the personal union revolves along the lines of the modernist forces of Liberalism and Democracy, the monarchies of Europe joined together under the banner of the Prussian state, the so-called "Königsreich", a political, economic union of monarchist states, to counter said ideologies. In response, the Entente, a coalition of nation-states who subscribe to these modernist ideologies, was created to counter the Königsreich. Now, it is up to you to shape the destiny of not only Europe, but the fate of the world as we know it. Will the divine right of Kings prevail, along with her most vocal supporter, Prussia? Or will the modernist forces of Liberalism and Democracy shine bright throughout the world, and what is now Prussia succumb to its downfall?
Königsreich started development on October 3rd, 2018. pre-beta released October 28th, 2018, and Alpha release December 13th, 2018.
