All my Hearts of Iron IV music mods: https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561197980988903/myworkshopfiles/

This is the Latin Nations music mod which has songs for all of the Latin nations on earth at the time, though I focused on the big six with the largest industrials/resources. These would be Spain, Brazil, Portugal, Argentina, Mexico, and Venezuela. All Latin nations however, will get music added from this mod, even if you are playing the Dominican Republic, or Honduras. Italy, the original Latin nation has its music in the European Axis music mod. Samples of the music are above.

There are 249 songs in this mod, broken down into 46 Mexican, 34 Argentinean, 30 Brazilian, 30 Nationalist Spain, 26 Venezuelan, 20 Portuguese, 20 Spanish which plays for both sides of the civil war, 17 Republican Spain, 14 general Latin for all Latin nations, 10 Chilean, 2 Peruvian songs. All of these nations have their peace and war music.

If you are a Latin nation at war, you will only hear your nation’s war music and the music that came with the game. Otherwise all Latin nations share peace music within the same language, except for native and National Anthem songs. To get more war and peace music for any nation in the game, get my General Songs mod which is comprised of classical music. To get dynamic music, subscribe to one of my faction mods (Comintern, Allies, European Axis), and join one of the main factions in the game. In the factions, the music will play depending on your war score. If you or your side is losing the war, sadder, more depressing songs will play, whereas winning will have in general more uplifting or patriotic music.

These songs are meant to immerse the player into the feel, theme, and setting with the music that was played at the time. Military music both played by military bands and music from movies, as well as video games have a strong presence here too. Civilian music dominates during peace time, and then when at war, historical military music, or music created for since the war to fit that nation and theme then dominate.

The Hoi4 Music Project will have nearly 3000 songs with originals from 1913 up to the end of the game time of 1948. Many songs will be from the 30s and 40s, but many songs will also be made for the period in question such as from Band of Brothers, or movies like Dunkirk. The entire collection of music has been gathered together for nearly all of the combatants in World War II. Now with Civilization music! From Civilization 3 to 6 now in all of my music mods.

Now, all of my individual music mods have been released! The HOI4 Music Project consists of: East Asian Music, General Music, European Axis Music, Allies Music, Latin Nations Music, Comintern Music, and USA Music mods. The final plan is to put them all together into one massive music mod! This latter idea does not have a date set, since as of right now it was time consuming enough to create these seven mods as it was. It will get done when it will get done!

All music is set to play for their proper dates, so if a song historically came out in 1941, it will not play until then for the nation/language it was created in. Same languages share civilian music amongst each other, while military music is specific for that nation. The exception to this would be US music only being shared with Canada.

This mod is around 1.2 GB, so make sure you have space. All together, the HOI4 Music Project will be over 6 GB. So it has been broken up into specific regions and alliances such as the UK, Commonwealth, and France all in one. I originally began gathering music back in 2004, and in early 2018 I made it my mission to gather as many as I could to fit together into the ultimate music mod. In total, this was such an ambitious project, that it took me months to gather, and hammer out the bugs I’ve run into.

Let me know if there is an error, like if a song doesn’t play, or has the wrong title attached to it. I’ve done my best to mod and research the songs that are added, to get everything done correctly but something’s may have slipped past.

If anyone feels that there is an essential song missing, please let me know. I am open to suggestions.
