Description:

This is a quick and dirty submod fix to an infuriating element in Kaiserreich 0.8.4. As you might have already heard or discovered, the balance of the American Civil War is now based on a series of tags to strengthen the relevant nations. However, these tags only apply to the AI-controlled versions of the states, meaning the player will never receive certain states and resources regardless of political choices leading up to the war.

This simple submod fixes this by removing any references in the strengthening tags to whether or not the nations are AI-controlled or not. For clarity, this creates the following conditions:
–The Combined Syndicates will take New York City and New Jersey if Reed is elected President or the Pacific States do not exist, and they will also take Minnesota under the same conditions or if Floyd Olson’s Coalition either didn’t happen or collapsed.
–The Union State will take North Carolina and Tennessee if Long or Garner were elected President or the Pacific States do not exist.
–The United States will take Southern Texas back from Long if Long or Reed was elected President.

Please give any relevant feedback on this mod’s functioning or possible changes. The goal here was simply to remove an artificial bias in the name of difficulty and make the mod play as the story should intend.
