Better Paratrooper Drops
Paratroopers would be a very fun unit to use but Paradox makes it very hard to be able to use them effectively or in a fun way!
This little Mod aims to improve the effectiveness of Paratrooper after they have been dropped!
All Changes:
-Decreased the Paradrop Penalty from -0.3 to -0.22.
-Decreased the Paradrop Penalty after having been dropped from 48h to 24h.
-Decreased the Org Regain Penalty after having been dropped from 120h to 60h.
-Increased the Organisation Value a unit has after being dropped from 0.1 to 0.2.
-Decreased the Organisation Multiplier Penalty from -0.8 to -0.6.
-Decreased the amount of Transports needed for a single Paratrooper from 20 Transports to 15.
-Decreased the Air Superiority Ratio needed to start Dropping from 70% to 60%. You can drop a bit earlier now but do not forget that less airsuperiority will ultimately mean a higher risk for your Transports to get shot down as well!
-Changed PARACHUTE_PENALTY_RANDOMNESS from 0.1 to 0.07. (Means less chance for random penalties after the Drop)
This should make the use of Paratroopers more fun and useable as before you had to wait forever to get to the 70% air superiority or never did at all and when your paratroopers finally reached their target they immediately got surrounded and dispatched because of having no organisation and huge penalties ontop of that. Also 20 transports for 1battalion of paratroopers is insanity! For mid sized nations a single transport plane could need weeks to months to produce!
Compatibility:
It is Save-Game Compatible and will work in Iron-Man but no Achievements can be unlocked.
No files have been edited, I created a unique .lua file so this mod is compatible with all mods that do not change the same stats.
