Description:

This mod introduces a new type of unit for your army: the armoured infantry.

Features:

-A new unit type, armoured infantry.
-3 Tiers of a new equipment type, infantry armour, which is necessary for recruiting these soldiers.
-3 New technologies in the infantry tab, which lets you unlock these new soldiers and their equipment.

The reason i made this mod is because in my personal opinion there weren’t really any "elite" soldiers to put into the division designer, from a pure stat standpoint aswell as a roleplayey standpoint, so i made my own mod!
With armoured infantry you should think of soldiers covered in armoured plating, which offers great protection and makes them look like badasses while trading in mobility. You will start of with stuff related to experiments from the Great War, working your way up to proto- power armour.

As sources i for inspiration i would say the sentry from Battlefield 1, soldiers from the more recent Wolfenstein game, and Fallout’s power armour.

3D models aren’t in this mod, and i won’t make them myself, but if someone is crazy enough to do that, go ahead.

As for compatibility, i do know really know, this mod does change the infantry tech tree so this will probably conflict with mods that do the same thing, feel free to try out though. It will probably work with mods that only add custom countries for example, as these mods mess with different files.

Im open for suggestions, especially on balancing, as i’m still trying to figure out what stats would fit these guys and their equipment best.
