Minutes to Midnight – Pre-release showcase
Welcome to a new take on the Cold War!
We in the Minutes to Midnight team has since February 2017 worked on brining a historical, accurate Cold War to life, simulating and exceeding Paradox own quality standards. So far we have put over a million lines of code in, hundreds of new GFX, hundreds of new portraits and thousands of work hours towards making this come true.

Since then we have made some core changes to how we work; in the past we took in anyone from anywhere to work on it, but we have since then cut down on developement team size, and we have as well heightened the standards for new members. This has taken a toll on production speed, but with a great leap in the quality of what we produce.
Recently, we had a brand upgrade; a proper name and a new logo for our mod was made, along the works of a music mod to complent MtM.
We are now aiming at release, and have a internally set date (with a public one to be revealed later this year).
So far completed major changes have been:
* Complete removal of all tech groups, and a rebuilding of them from the ground up. In addition to this, 4 new have been added.
* Complete overhaul of the map; states, provinces, supply areas, strategic regions and more!
* The addition of GFX: So far over 500 unique GFX sprites are in, and to this now more than 150 portraits.
* Full focus trees, OOB’s, Decision trees for 10+ nations, with about 10 more to roll in for release.
* New national spirit and advisor system.
* New Ideology system.
* New AI mechanics and sanity checks, removing a lot of whacky interactions that often happen, keeping the world more believable and fun.
We take great pride in what we have achieved so far, and hope that once we do a full release you will enjoy what we have created.
