DonBlazers Waffen-SS Icons pack for Hearts of Iron 4 gives the player more immersion playing as Germany. The mod delivers a set of division icons displaying all 38 Waffen-SS divisions fielded by the Waffen-SS during World War Two.

previous version had a branch of focuses for each division, this is no longer available and will be replaced with the decisions in the near future. I will also add SS-Armeekorps, SS-Gebirgskorps and SS-Panzerkorps icons in the next update aswell.

All divisions in the Waffen-SS were ordered in a single series of numbers as formed, regardless of type. Those tagged with nationalities were at least nominally recruited from those nationalities. Many of the higher-numbered units were small battlegroups (Kampfgruppen), i.e., divisions in name only.

As a general rule, an "SS Division" was made up of Germans or other Germanic peoples, while a "Division of the SS" was made up of non-Germanic volunteers. For example, the 5. SS-Panzer-Division "Wiking" or the 11. SS-Freiw.-Panzergrenadier-Division "Nordland" divisions was mainly made up of volunteers from Scandinavia which is Germanic countries like Germany, while the the 15. Freiw.-Grenadier-Division Der SS made up by Latvians which was non-Germanic.
