Führerreich: Legacy of the Great War

Fuhrerreich: Legacy of the Great War is a double-blind what if alternate history mod based on an event from the popular mod Kaiserreich. In the world of Kaiserreich a popular novelist – Erich Paul Remark – imagines a world in which the Central Powers lost the Great War. Führerreich is that world.

Beginning in 1912, when Theodore Roosevelt’s Bull Moose Party wins the US Elections, the world soon finds itself in the grip of the War to End all Wars. After three years of brutal fighting the United States joins the war against the Central Powers, turning the tide in the conflict. By 1919 the war is over, the defeated Central Powers are occupied and their Empires dissolved.

By 1936 the world is once more on the precipice of a new Great War. The resurgent Germany, led by the charismatic Adam Dressler and his Valkists are threatening to overthrow the status quo in Europe. The British Empire stands on the precipice of internal collapse from colonial rebellion. What remains of the Entente Cordiale struggles to overcome economic and new diplomatic challenges, and the Collectivist States of the former Russian Empire find themselves seeking to determine the future of Socialism.

Terrors persist, conflict brews and war lays just beyond the horizon. Only a single question remains: Who will be victorious?

Notes: Fuhrerreich: Legacy of the Great War is very much a Work In Progress. We hope to update the mod regularly once every few months with new content. Important bug fixes and solutions to game-breaking issues will likely be corrected in hotfixes.
