Seinfeld Overhaul
The ultimate immersion mod for Hearts of Iron IV.
My first mod and a major WIP. Mostly just a fun project for my enjoyment, but if other people think it is funny then that’s great!
Finally updated for 1.5.x version of the game. I’ve added nothing except for removing the alert that says it’s outdated. Be forewarned that there might be bugs relating to the new features and dlc’s that have come out since the last update (dec. ’16). I will be working on this mod more regularly now that I’ve got more free time. Enjoy and thank you for the interest in my mod!
Currently working on a big new update. Here are the planned features:
– New Seinfeld-related ideologies (Seinfeldism, newmanism, neutrality (kramerism), and communism)
– These will not mirror any vanilla ideologies too closely, except for newmanism, which is pretty close to fascism.
– Updating all countries to adhere to these new ideologies
– New borders, removal of some minor countries
– New focus tree for Jerry’s country (USA)
– New default focus tree (will replace vanilla unique focus trees besides the U.S. until more work is done on unique trees)
– Revamp of Jerry’s faction, removing some members to allow more freedom in who they choose to side with to reflect their friends and interests in the show (for example, Kramer is friends with both Jerry and Newman, and also became a communist for a short time when he talked to Ned Isakoff. So he will be torn between all three.)
