Every Country a Portrait

If like me, you like to make a lot of puppets, you have probably noticed that a lot of country leaders are lacking portraits, or are just randomly generated generic leaders.
With Every Country a Portrait, this has come to an end.
Every Country a Portrait adds black and white portraits for all country, all ideologies. We’ve spent days of research to add new leaders to replace the generic ones : Every Country a Portrait guarantees you that you won’t see one in charge of any country in your game – if you find one, please tell me – . In some cases, there were no leaders for a specific ideology (think about communist Burundi or fascist Samoa). In this case, you will still have a real historical figure leading the country, just that they might not have been an actual communist/fascist/democrat. I’ve tried in those cases to find the leader that would have been the most likely to work with x ideology, and what would be the most likely scenario for the country to adopt that ideology – after all, HOI4 ideologies represent what faction the country will join more than actual politics. I’m very open to the addition of new leaders, if you find historical figures that I have missed.
Postcolonial countries from MTG and La Résistance have all been updated.
The photos are as much as possible from the timeframe of HOI4.
This mod changes checksum and isn’t compatible with ironman. All of your friends need it if you want to use it in a multiplayer game.
This mod changes almost all history/countries files and will most likely not be compatible with mods that change those files.
In addition, a few focus and event files that generate leaders have been changed, and I’ve yet to find a way to include their new portraits without changing those files.
I’m open to collaboration with other modders in order to release compatibility patches, aswell as the use of my work in other mods as long as credit is given.
