(Austria)-Hungary & Yugoslavia Improvements
This mod includes some minor alterations to various European and Balkan countries with the intent of improving upon the base game experience provided by the DLC ‘Death or Dishonor’, as well as adding changes to the Yugoslavian and, more importantly, Hungarian focus trees with respect to making an Austria-Hungary run potentially more seamless and streamlined.
DEATH AND DISHONOR IS REQUIRED
Changes:
• Adds an event for the focus “Restoration of Austria-Hungary” in the Austria-Hungary focus path for Hungary. This event allows for you to choose whether to keep your capital in Budapest, or to move it to the historical Imperial Capital of Vienna.
• Adds a modified variant of the "Habsburg Restored" national spirit to allow for Austria-Hungary to send volunteer forces.
• Modifies the event options for “Protect Czechoslovakia” to allow for Austria-Hungary to gain instant wargoals against Czechoslovakia if they choose, should Czechoslovakia either refuse protection, or offer to become a puppet rather than be fully annexed.
• Adds new events for the focuses “March to the Shore”, “Claim Galicia”, and “Reclaim Venetia” in the Austria-Hungary focus path for Hungary. These events allow for a chance to acquire the claimed territories peacefully, or gain an instant wargoal on the countries holding your claimed territory should they refuse.
• Adds new events for Yugoslavia, in the situation that it loses ownership of its various non-Serbian territories through conquest, to remove the relevant national spirits, among other things.
• Adds Galicia-Lodomeria in southern Poland as a releasable nation, and allows Hungary to release Transylvania if it owns any states with Transylvanian cores.
• Might be some other features that I can’t recall at the moment, consider them easter eggs and special surprises.
This mod is not ironman compatible. It should technically be savegame compatible, but certain features might be missing unless you start a new game from scratch. Only playable on multiplayer if both you and the other players have the same mod. Please let me know as soon as possible if you are experiencing any issues with the mod itself, or wish to inform me of any compatibility issues with other mods. THIS MOD HAS BEEN UPDATED TO WORK WITH THE NEW PATCH 1.11.

A number of files in the history/states folder have also been altered, primarily to add new cores to certain states for releasable nations and such.
REGARDING BEAUTIFUL STATES COMPATIBILITY: I will not make this mod compatible with Beautiful States. While I deeply enjoy the mod, it is a bit too time-consuming for me to attempt setting up full compatibility between this mod and Beautiful States. I highly encourage any of you who are interested to set up a third-party compatibility patch between this mod and Beautiful States, you have my full permission and support in doing so.
