Welcome to Portugal Reworked ++ Expanded! This mod is an attempt to assume the legacy of the best mod ever made for hoi4, Portugal Reworked ++ by Turista, focusing on the lovely little country of Portugal! (far better than La Resitance dlc btw). This is something I will work in my freetime when I´m willing so don´t expect many big updates apart from you know, adjusting the mod to actually work in future versions, currently compatible with 1.9.3. Be sure to report any bugs!!

REGARDING THIS MOD VERSION

Due to the request of many, I have decided to make this mod, which basically removes the extra states and in general uses more files from the base game, thus making it a lot better for compatability with other mods which also fixed the issue it had with the LaR spanish civil war (this will be coming shortly to the standalone mod don’t worry)

REGARDING COMPATABILITY WITH ROAD TO 56

I know you’ll be sad to hear this but really I tried everything I knew to make this work with r56. It doesnt crash or anything but, for some reason, Road to 56 just uses its regular focus tree for Portugal or the LaR. I dont know why this happens as I’ve tried mixing these two mods before, back when the original Portugal Expanded was still updated, so I’m so very sorry to disappoint you as well as myself but I really tried to make this work. If you know how to solve this feel free to write it down.
