De-autotranslated Norway
The default Norwegian division names and ship class names are terrible machine translations, some of which use characters that don’t even exist in Norwegian. If you, like me, are a Norwegian speaker and find that distracting, this mod is for you.
Feature List:
– Replaces default Division and Ship class names with more sensible translations, though they’re mine and I am not much of a military enthusiast so they might not be completely correct. Feedback welcome.
– Adds some new ship names (there are a lot of repeats) mainly from military ships either decommissioned before WW2 or built after it. Also some that I thought sounded cool, mainly from other places in Norway.
To be added at some point if I can be arsed:
– More ship names.
– Operative names based on code names for MILORG operatives
– Replacing names of the divisions and templates that exist at the start of the game (that one might be more effort/cause incompatibilities)

Updated mod to 1.11.x
Made some minor improvements to not just have this mod on life support:
– Added a few ship names to each category, removed some duplicates
– Renamed submarines from "Ubåt" to "Undervannsbåt", since that is how they were designated as far as I can tell
– Renamed cavalry regiments from "Kavaleriregiment" to "Kavaleridivisjon", as that is a more accurate translation
– Changed naval prefix from HNoMS to KNM. As the rest of these names are in norwegian, it felt more right to use the norwegian prefix for the navy than the english one.
– Added simple agent name list mostly based on norwegian fauna but with a few generic last names, let me know if there are any issues with it
