Better Singleplayer
This mod aims to get rid of many annoyances that I personally have found in the vanilla game.
Features include:
– AI will never send expeditionary forces, unless the overlord of a puppet requests it. (This means that countries like Italy won’t send its entire army to Germany, meaning that all of Italy would be undefended.
– The modifier "Recovering from civil war" given to Nationalist Spain after the Spanish Civil War now lasts for much longer, meaning that Spain should never join the Axis in a normal game.
– Germany can’t do the focus "Alliance with Spain" unless the Soviet Union doesn’t exist.
– Germany can’t do the focus "Around Maginot" unless Poland has capitulated or Germany is at peace with Poland.
– The German focus "Befriend Turkey" will no longer instantly add Turkey to the Axis.
– Germany can only do the "War with the USSR" focus if they actually border the Soviets.
For more historical peace conferences:
– Removed Austrian claim on South Tyrol.
– Added Yugoslavian core on Zara.
– Removed Greek core on Istanbul.
Planned features:
– Event that removes the "recovering from civil war" modifier given to Spain if they end up being attacked.
