Latvia Revamped
This mod contains a revamp of the Latvian nation in HOI4.
With this mod you’ll play a Latvia that is more closely resembling the Latvian situation in 1936, including an updated focus tree, updated starting technologies and equipment, new national spirits, and new generals and admirals with custom portraits.
In terms of politics – you’ll be able to side with either the LKP, LSDSP or Perkonkrusts parties, or continue with the Ulmanis government, all leading to their own unique outcomes.
This mod aims to make playing Latvia more interesting without taking away from the core HOI4 experience or making Latvia overpowered.
The changes in more detail;
New focus tree with;
• Five extensive political paths including; Non-Aligned, Democratic, Fascist, Communist and Baltic German.
• Focus to achieve peaceful uniting of the Baltic states.
• War goals to forcefully annex Baltics and surrounding regions.
• Updated army, naval and air focus trees.
• Updated industrial focus tree.
• Electronics focus tree.
• Focuses for defensive construction and recruitment.
Updated starting technologies to reflect Latvian situation in 1936; radio, artillery, support equipment, engineer company, light armour, trench warfare, landing craft, interwar armoured car, scout plane, early cruiser, basic torpedo and contact mine.
Added ‘forest brothers’ national spirit which grants bonuses to entrenchment and equipment capture.
Added a light tank division template and unit.
Added 14 new Latvian commanders and 1 admiral with custom portraits.
Works with base game and any DLC.
