–もしもあのとき、太陽が沈まなかったら？–

　第二次世界大戦は1945年、連合国の勝利で幕を閉じた….。苦い敗戦を噛みしめ、空を見上げると敵機が飛んでいる…。日本人も、ドイツ人も、イタリア人も、戦後の混乱した世の中を生きてこう思っただろう。「もし、我々が第二次世界大戦に勝利していたら…」このModはそんな世界線―大東亜共栄圏と枢軸国が連合国を打倒し、新たな安寧と混乱への扉を開いた世界―を遊ぶことができます。この世界では1936年に中華民国と大日本帝国との間で不可侵条約が結ばれたことを歴史の転換点としています。ゲームスタートは1950年。核兵器は未だ開発途上であり、各国は戦術兵器への注力を余儀なくされています。大戦の敗者アメリカは分裂し、イギリスはかろうじて本土を守ることができたものの、多くの植民地とその国際的地位を失っています。他方、勝者となったはずの日本はその理想の具現であったはずの大東亜共栄圏が大きな重荷となり経済は停滞、ドイツは東方生存権を実現し欧州の覇権を握ったもののその巨体はヒトラーという独裁者ただ一人によって支えられており、早くもその腐臭を漂わせつつあります。代わりに台頭したのは同じく勝者のイタリア。かつての友邦を追い落とし世界大国への野望を膨らませつつあります。2回目の最期の戦争の終結からはや数年、この世界はどのような未来をたどるのでしょうか？

今回のアップデートではバルカン半島の国家と彼らが引き起こす「ドナウ戦争」にフォーカスを当てており、バルカン半島の多くの国に独自のNFやイベント、国民精神が追加されています。また、それらのほかにも、いくつかの国に新たな要素が追加されています。詳細は以下の通りです。

What if the Sun never set?—–

World War II ended in 1945 with the victory of the Allies. While enduring the bitter loss, an enemy plane flies over… The Japanese, the Germans, the Italians, all of them lived with the dream of “If we won this war…” This mod offers you the chance to play in such a world – a world where the Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere and the Axis powers have overthrown the Allies, opening the door to a new peace and new chaos. In this world, the turning point in history was the signing of the Non-Aggression Pact between the Republic of China and the Empire of Japan in 1936. The game starts in 1950, nuclear weapons are still under development, and countries are forced to focus on tactical weapons. The United States, the loser of the Great War, was divided, and Britain, though barely able to defend its mainland, lost many of its colonies and its international status. On the other hand, Japan, which was supposed to be the victor, was burdened by the Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere, which was supposed to be the embodiment of its ideals, and its economy stagnated. Germany has realized its lebensraum and became the hegemony of Europe, but its huge structure is supported only by one dictator, Hitler, and it is already reeking of corruption. Instead, Italy, another victor, has risen to the occasion, ousting its former ally and expanding its ambitions to become a world power. A few years after the end of the second and final war, what will the future hold for this world?

–The Sun Shining on the Worldとは？–

第二次世界大戦に枢軸国がもし勝利していたら…。というのを描いた野心あるMODです。2020年5月31日から開発が始まり、多くの日本人・外国人が制作に参加しています。MODの大まかな概要は先述した通りです。このMODはまだまだ開発段階で、今発表されているものはβ版です。私たちは制作者を募集しています。このMODに興味を持っていただけなら、ぜひとも制作に参加してほしいです。
