Historical Focus Filter
Ever get confused when trying to do a historical run, not able to figure out which political option to pick? Don’t know which economic choice your country went with historically?
Historical Focus Filter will remedy these issues!
This mod easily highlights the historical foci from each unique focus tree, making the newer trees which feature a lot of interweaving choices, easy to navigate and choose historical options.
With economic and military choices, the mod also highlights the correct historical option as a bonus: but be warned – the historical action is not always the best!
Each focus has been researched and double checked for accuracy sake, but it’s always possible I missed one or two so let me know if that’s the case! Worth noting however, some of the political, economic and military options aren’t followed through or made to choose – this is down to the country in question either making that political choice (such as South Africa taking the rest of British Southern Africa) or not enacting similar actions with their economy and military, so these choices are both ahistorical.
Questions
Will this mod work with X overhaul? (RT56, Darkest Hour, Kaiserreich)
No. None of these mods are compatible due to HFF changing the original focus tree itself so will break when loaded into other overhauls. May also struggle with other mods which change states (and by extension focus trees) so be careful!
Can you make this iron-man compatible?
Due to how focus filters work, that’s impossible unfortunately. These filters have to be applied in the folder with the focus tree, meaning that as far as the game is concerned, you’re modifying the focus tree itself.
