Precise Buffs – Cheat Ideas | 1.19.*

Buff this thing. Debuff that thing.
Customize your playthrough experience as never before!
This mod features spicy buffs/debuffs menu with many options to choose from. From Monthly Population to Experience Factors. From Weekly Stability to Ace Generation Chance. Your game now has YOUR rules.

AI can’t use this buffs on it’s own, buffs are country-specific.
To buff/debuff AI country you need to tag switch and manually set the options.

NOT Ironman compatible

Precise Buffs not working with <MY-FAV-MOD>
Please report the issue in the Bug Reports & Feedback thread rather than the comments.

<MY-FAV-MOD> adds overlaying menu, I can’t see the button
Use the [shift]+[c] shortcut.

Why <MY-FAV-MOD> isn’t working; TLDR
Add <YOUR-FAV-MOD>’s name (from its descriptor) as a dependency in Precise Buffs’ descriptor. More on this subject in the dedicated discussion.

Is the buffs only for your own country?
Yes, you need to tag-switch to other countries to buff & de-buff them.

Can you add <MODIFIER-NAME>?
Leave your requests in the Bug Reports & Feedback thread section.

Precise Buffs not working on clean game
No, it works fine even with all DLCs disabled. This is an issue on your side.

Airplanes stats modifiers not working
Modifiers are being applied correctly, sorry. AFAIK – blame Paradox.

"Ideology drift defense" not working
Modifier is being applied correctly, sorry. AFAIK – blame Paradox.

"Navy Fuel Consumption" not working
Modifier is being applied correctly, it just doesn’t effect Destroyers for some reason. It works for other ship types.

"Training Time" not working properly
No, it’s working as intended by the game engine. "-100%" option is here to offset various de-buffs. If your total training time modifiers goes above 100% the game bugs out and your divisions cannot train at all.
<CHEAT-BUFF> + <VANILLA/LEGIT-BUFF(S)> ≤ 100%

"General Army Size" and "Field Marshall Army Group Size" modifiers are disabled
Yes, they are. I really want to include this modifiers in the list of buffs, but they just don’t want to work properly.
I am looking for a workaround, let me know in the comments if you know how to apply these modifiers properly.

Fixes:

  • Fixed the Agency Upgrade Time modifier not applying correctly.
  • Fixed the Ship Refit Speed modifier not applying correctly.

Details:
A recent HOI4 update appears to have changed how these modifiers are processed. When either modifier was applied on its own, the game would ignore it completely. Previous versions of the game did not exhibit this behavior.

A workaround has been implemented and both modifiers have now been re-enabled.

Known Side Effect:

  • Due to the workaround, enabling either of these modifiers will also grant +1 Weekly Manpower.
  • This side effect is imposed by the game’s current behavior and cannot currently be removed without breaking the modifiers again.
