Scotland Forever
In the Easter Rising of 1916, an ambitious leader, whose name is lost to history, prompted multiple groups across Scotland to join the rebellion against the British state. These groups eventually consolidated, and the free state of Scotland was formed. This state carried on a long and bloody war for its independence, with the powerful Scottish clans declaring for Scotland, and the hills and mountains of Scotland being used for guerrila war. With a British army exhausted from world war one and an additional war against Ireland, and an elite force known as the plaidshirts rising in support of Scotland, Scotland eventually won its independence. Now the state of Scotland must maintain its independence, with multiple factions vying for control and a stronger Britain gathering power on the border, and meanwhile war looms over Europe as German aggresion goes unchecked. This is Scotland Forever.
This mod adds an entirely new country to Hearts of Iron IV, Scotland. This country comes with a MASSIVE focus tree, peppered with flavour texts and full to the brim with events. Play as Scotland through World War 2, and experience the deep and rich lore of this alternate history, playing as the fascist Raven, the communist Poet or the democratic King, characters heavily based on real people poised to take control of Scotland.
**All the events in this mod are purely fictional, but have a heavy basis in history. Therefore, some real historical figures are represented in ways totally different from real events. No offense is of course meant by their representations in this mod, only to tell an interesting alt scenario story.**
