MTG Expanded Improved (updated to 1.15)
Mod has been updated for 1.15 and now should be fully compatible. However, this has made some of the new special project techs redundant or unnecessary, so I will look into moving some tech from here to there in the future.
I previously released this mod some months ago but had some issues updating it on the old page so I uploaded it here instead.
Do you like naval warfare? Do you really like naval warfare, and think that the naval rework from all the way back in the MTG was a pitiful excuse for a
ship designer? Do you see the number of mods that fix this issue, but are all incompatible with one another for one reason or another?
Well, introduce MTG Expanded Expanded, a mod that combines three excellent naval mods into one (with the permission of all three mod devs of course)! Some might say that it’s the most ambitious Naval mod since the original MTG Expanded!
Including the mods…
MTG Expanded https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2124082035&searchtext=mtg+expanded , The White Lion’s Ship Modules Expanded

An honorable mention goes to Lolloblue, who’s mod inspired some of the other changes I added which have their origins in this mod https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1877932560&searchtext=lollo%27s+module+edits . His After the Naval race mod https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1846040721 is also a cool way to have a large navy as well.
Thank you to all the creators that led me use their mods! No seriously, without their permission this mod would not be possible.
To integrate these mods together into one mod I’ve changed some parts of each mod, including.
-rebalance of all gun modules and a buff of armor modules on each ship, since some late game guns have pretty high attack values
-gave medium guns some light attack, since they sometimes would fight smaller ships with their main guns (especially light cruisers
-gave sonar some slight surface detection and a positive modifier to depth charging
-slightly buffed snorkel especially the integrated snorkel/radar
-fire control increases reliability, not decreases it!
-sub 2 and on have separate slots for radar and sonar
-more types of conversions are possible, and you should be able to convert ships from another country to ones of your own
-floatplane and seaplane have improved detection
-probably more things that I’ve forgotten
