Romania Reworked

Temporarily removed custom capitulation when losing a civil war due to it being broken for some people. Restoring it when I find a good fix.

*This category was made so I can see how far the mod has come since I upload an update every few centuries.

Romania Reworked is a full overhaul mod for Romania, changing the focus tree, the ideas and the decisions, making a more immersive gameplay that will fell like never before with new paths for new leaders that were very influential in interwar and WW2 Romania.

Most of the old mechanics were changed into:

• A brand new and bigger focus tree
• Internal factions mechanics just like Bulgaria but a bit different
• State modifiers which affect things like manpower and buildings
• Lots of random events that make every game a bit different
• Historical events are also present
• 4 fascist paths with Ion Antonescu, Corneliu Zelea Codreanu, Horia Sima and Octavian Goga
• 1 monarchist path with King Carol II
• 2 democratic paths, one liberal and one social-democratic
• 1 communist path
• Civil wars and political turmoil
• And lots more to come with future updates…

• The first path is the one with King Carol II where you need to defend every centimeter of your nation and get rid of the fascists and dangerous neighbours before you declare the king as the sole defender of Romania.
• The second path is the historical path of Romania where you force the king to abdicate and put Antonescu in power to reclaim Bessarabia and in the end you execute King Michael’s coup.
• The third path is the one with Sima where you go the same as Antonescu but you don’t crush the Legionnary Rebellion, you actually support it.
• The fourth path is the one with Codreanu where you get in 2 civil wars before establishing the legionnary dream.
• The fifth path is the same as Codreanu but you are with Goga on the other side of the civil wars and you basically establish a nazi Romania.
• The sixth path is the liberal democratic one in which you get king Michael I to rule.
• The seventh path is the social democratic one in which you get to rule through a coalition.
• The eight path is the communist one in which you get to sovietize your country.

Expect minor bugs because this mod is still in early development even though is has enough content to be called a full release, but I’m planning to add more non-historical things because everything that is implemented right now is plausible and a bit historical.

I encourage you to read most of the focuses and decisions before playing as some paths need to be prepared from the early game to lose no time.
To go with Goga/Codreanu (Lancieri/Iron Guard) lower their loyality and increase their powerbase from the beginning.
In the early game watch out for political power buffs and debuffs.
For the assassinate the king branch, go full left for the liberal-democratic path, full right for the communist path and any order for the social-democratic coalition path.

This mod should be compatible with every other mod that doesn’t modify Romania.

• Q: Why did you change the mod icon?
  A: Lots of people though I changed the states on the map so I wanted to clear the confusion.
• Q: Any Moldova/Transylvania/Wallachia reworks?
  A: No plans for that right now as I find them kind of useless, why fight for unity when you will just dissolve the country like Yugoslavia.
• Q: Vlad Tepes, Romanian Final Boss (and other memes) path?
  A: No, just no, I want my mod to make some sense and have quality, not to be a spam mod.
• Q: When will the path x be finished?
  A: I’m working in my free time and also doing everything in order so neither do I know when I will finish it.
