RE:Spain
This version of Spain is a lot stronger than the vanilla one as it has a much bigger army, navy and airforce. It shouldn`t be able to rival France, Germany and GB at the start of the game or when WW2 triggers but it is a stronger addition for the allies, axis or commitern.
With 43 divisions (18 are brigades/garrisons), 62 ships (most of them are destroyers and submarines) and 400 fighters and 200 naval bomberrs, the strength of Spain can provide a more interesting playthrough to the player wether you are playing as Spain or against.
The country also has a really powerfull focus branch that offers your army or navy a decent buff. If you commit to one aspect like the Japanese are supposed to do you will perform better or worse in one theater or another. Take in mind that Spain is not England or Germany as this Tag cannot produce 6 lines of planes at the same time so picking an air stategy should be the way the go.
Some advisors and generals have been removed as they shouldnt exist in this alternate Spain as only the looming threat of the civil war and later the civil war itself promote a lot of these figures into high rank officers.
Spain now has a branch in the national focus dedicated to the three main theaters as there are threats in America, Europe and Asia that you can strike fist before you are dragged into a conflict. Of course declaring war will raise the world tension and also you will hit your stability really hard.
- For America it allows you to attack the former colonies of Spain (No USA intervention) and after reconquering all the americas you can go after the USA.
- For Europe you can make a pact with portugal or annex them and later Brasil, go to war with the allies, the axis and the commitern. Bonus points, you can hit the stability of the commonwealth with embargos.
- For Asia, Japan is the main threat and in a lesses scale China. Japan focus tree has been modified so they will declare on Spain to claim the Phillipines at some point.
The RE:Spain mod does alter the starting conditions of Spain in 1936, not only there are few technologies that vanilla Spain lacked. The Spanish Republic and Kingdom of Spain start with 40ish industry (civs, mils and shipyards) but their paths are really different although both national focus paths cost a lot of political power.
- Republican/Socialist branch will apply really hard debuffs in the core territory. However they are lessened the more you progress in this path. It is not a super strong economic path in the traditional way as your core states will have the autonomous and semiautonomous debuff or will have to pass through a civil war. It does has its perks though.
- Conservative/Carlist-Fascist branch does offer a stronger economy, more political power, some timed ideas, free railroads in some areas. But also you will clear some of the starting debuffs later than the republican path can.
In the end each path offers you strong ideas/rewards that should be matched with what other path offers/takes. The communist have a few ideas around production, manpower that the fascist does not have. The democratic paths will lead to a huge military industry at some point and the carlist-fascist exchanges the economy for really strong military buffs.
Depending on you political decisions you will have a different experience when Germany declares on Poland. If you went the fascist route you might be restoring your country or ready to fight France. A communist Spain surely has to prepare for the innevitable war with the axis and Democratic Spain can choose to remain neutral in Europe and focus on Asia against the Japanese or aid the allies.
I am not the best player but i got a decent army and industry at that point that should be able to face any mayor with the exception of Germany (1939), URSS and USA (1940). So wether you are a superplayer or just average this mod should allow you to have a smoother experience with Spain.

PD: No mod is in theory needed but i recommend to have at leat La Resistance so the only couple of events that are here can fire.
