When the Immortal first set his boots down in the snow of Seattle, he knew that Lance Squadron had to change if they wished to survive in this unforgiving land. To reach behind the veil and uncover the Great North’s secrets, they would need to harden themselves like ice. In the end, the Immortal told himself, the sacrifices would be worth it. Surely Lost Hills would understand the lengths Lance Squadron took when they see the boons of the Immortal’s quest?
