Description:

Kaiserredux is perhaps my favourite mod for HoI4, however it always saddened me that core Polish tree was predominantly a leftover from Kaiserreich (excluding some explicitly meme options, and small adjustments); but hey hey hey, no more it is! Well at least with this submod…

Big part of Polish content have been (re)made by me from scratch; when it comes to focus tree only secondary ones, like army and foreign policy tree, have been left out almost intact.

It is my second project and I am doing it mostly for myself, but why not to share, right?
Maybe the paths aren’t very long (and I didn’t want to drag them by making focuses take ages to complete) or especially elaborate, but never the less I think that they are pretty fun when combined with base HoI4 gameplay, well at least I had a good time while testing.
The bonuses for Poland in this mod are pretty strong but it isn’t anything that unusual in KX (I suppose) and anyway, Poland is in pretty tough spot at the beginning if it wants to expand.

Paths List

About the tree itself; You can see most of the tree(s) on the pictures up there; but to describe them:
– Royal Council
– German Hostile Takeover (the path is more for flavour than anything, because I don’t think being essentially a puppet, with no prospect of expansion, is very fun…)
– Legionists Path (made up of Piłsudski’s allies that drifted more to the left than irl due to lack of Soviet Union and Syndicalist prominence in the west as a counterbalance to Germany)
– Democratic Socialists (left wing of PPS)
– Democratic trees with typical SocDems, SocLibs and SocCons
– National-Democratic Tree
– Communist Path
– Syndicalist Path lead by Jan Hempel and Bolesław Bierut
– Red National-Radicals, a Totalist Piasecki
— Late-Game Superstate(s) tree
— There also are: military tree ported from KX/KR and (silightly altered) foreign affairs tree.

Most things I intended are in, although I assigned default KX icons for focuses and ideas (because I am not very good with making new gfx). One thing I am not content about though, is lack of pictures for ministerial ideas, and in many cases I don’t know what to do with it, because I am pretty sure there are no pictures of those people available on the internet.

Regarding bugs; I tried testing everything, but making a proper playthrough with every path would be quite time consuming, so I weren’t able to do that, so as it usually is, there may be some bugs or oversights (I hope there are non though), so let me know if you find any. Oh, yeah, and there probably is a gargantual amount of spelling/grammatical mistakes 💀.

Country Paths Guides

– Legionists: Try purging the Army, and limit trade unions activity
– Democratic Republic: start with legionist path, but choose to restore democracy
– Constitutional Monarchy: Approach the army, but limit the unions activity
– National-Democracy: you can pick it with constitutional monarchy election event (but not with Republican one!)
– Red National-Radicals: restore democracy as Legionists and choose National-Democracy in the election, than follow the event chain and choose for left-wing coalition not to form
– Communists and Syndicalists: similar to the above, but make it so the coalition forms
– Royal Council: win army’s favour, and talk with workers

Attention:
Sometimes I get inspiration and do "one more" update, but please don’t expect regular big updates, although be sure to write if you find any bugs.
Also – Please don’t run any submods that affect ideologies along this submod, they are incompatible and might result in leaders being asigned wrongly for some nations!
And thanks to all the people on KX discord for feedback and help!
