Czechoslovak Pan-Slavic path
Have you ever felt disappointed with the lack of flavour for Czechoslovakia’s alternate history content, particularly the Fascist path?
Well, this mod is for you.
The Gajdian Czechoslovakia mod adds in a new branch to the Czechoslovak Focus Tree introduced in the Death or Dishonor DLC, specifically focused on adding a much more enjoyable alternative to the Fascist branch found in the base tree.
In this one, you rally your nation’s citizens around a retired army officer and veteran of the Czechoslovak Legions, the Croat-born Radola Gajda.
Features:
-Opposition to Germany:
In his respective branch of the Focus Tree, Gajda replaces the collaborationist Jaroslav Krejčí as the leader of the Fascist party.
You are guaranteed to enter into a war against Germany in this path, what matters is how you go about it, you can either look for a partnership with Italy or face the Reich by yourself, as the Allies are even less willing to protect you now.
-Unification of the Slavs:
Historically, Gajda and his political party have always advocated for bringing the Slavic nations together in an alliance or political union to counter both the threat of a resurgent Germany to the West or the Soviet Union to the East. In this path, you will be able to accomplish just this, by creating a formable nation to bring all Slavs under your banner, granting you vast amounts of core territory and new officers to bolster your ranks, speaking of which…
-New Field Commanders:
Though not exactly significant, this mod does add 3 new unique Commanders to Czechoslovakia, 2 of them at the start (Ludvík Krejčí and Jan Syrový respectively) and Radola Gajda, who can be granted the role of a Field Marshal after coming to power.
He was an experienced commander who fought fiercely during the Russian Civil War, so he is no pushover.
In addition, after completing the "Military Aeronautical Institute" focus you are given access to three historical Czechoslovak Ace pilots.
-Additional Content:
You may think the mod’s content would end after the defeat of the Germans and the Soviets, but you’d be wrong.
As a matter of fact, with all of the power you’ve attained by conquering Eastern Europe, you are now able to expand outside the continent into East Asia and Africa, much to the detriment of the local powers already established there, of course.
