Vanilla Historical Tweaks
This mod is aimed at increasing vanilla’s historical accuracy while preserving its gameplay (meaning no large overhauls).
Complete list of features:
– Reworked AI peace conferences (for now only ITA vs ETH, ♥♥♥ vs Chinese United Front and Axis vs USSR);
– British AI now actually forms the Expeditionary Force, and French AI helps Benelux too;
– Italian AI now portects its East African colonies properly;
– Soviet AI now won’t send volunteers to China on historical;
– Spanish AI will now attempt to join the Axis (if Germany does the appropriate focus) or the Allies (if the UK does the appropriate focus) and send volunteers to Germany against the Soviets;
– Soviets now have to attack Poland via a decision if they want the effects of the M-R pact;
– Denmark now gets a decision triggering an event offering them to surrender and become a German puppet; Note that the US will gain Greenland after the Danish surrender;
– Germany can now create a Croatian puppet in Yugoslavia, and a Czech puppet in Bohemia and Moravia; Additionally, they can now recruit additional WSS divisions;
– Japan can now create puppets in Indochina to gain additional war support, can strike the USSR while it’s losing the war against the Germans, and can puppet Siam via a decision and subsequent event, which Siam has to agree to;
– More and improved Reichskommissariats (only historical ones, don’t expect anything else);
– Iraqi AI now does the Nationalize the Oil decision if Germany is at war with the British and France has either capitulated or joined them; This decision now also changes the Iraqi government to a fascist one and declares war on the British;
– Finland now gets an event to join Germany against the Soviet Union if the latter controls any Finnish cores;
– If Germany does Case Anton, it will get an event where it can choose to either annex Vichy in full and get its divisions, or to puppet them and take the colonies;
– Nepal now has a decision to declare war on Germany in support of the British;
– Bhutan, Oman and Egypt are now colonies of the UK (with a possibility of the Raj releasing Burma later) and Haiti is a US colony;
– Reorganized National Government of the Republic of China can now be formed by Japan to help in its war in China.
