This is a Rework mod for Macedonia. It contains a farily large focustree and has a detailed backsory about what events changed that led to the Republic of Macedonia being independent in 1936. This is still in Beta testing and its in no way in a playable state. For those who wish to download it now beware that only the basics have been added and its here so that the testers can access it better. We are a team of 3 people and are working our fullest to complete the mod as soon as possible. Long live our nation.

In 1897 TMORO gathers at the Lerin Congress to agree on the future of the organization and a possible uprising. While TMORO is preparing for an uprising and gathering support in Solun, things are not so optimistic. Nikola Arsov, who is a newly joined member of the Gjemidjii, is arrested by the Ottoman authorities and is tortured and interrogated in the Solun prison. After 7 months he was released but he was not the same. He is broken inside and has only one goal in life, to take revenge on the Turks.
On April 6, 1899, the Gjemidjii, now led by Nikola, blow up the French ship "Revolution". It was carrying ammunition for the Turkish authorities and with its destruction the warehouses at the port were also detonated, flattening southern Solun. A large part of the Ottoman rulers and their Government in the European territories perished and therefore the European territories became destabilized, remaining without governors and commanders. TMORO now VMRO which did not know about the plan in Solun is shocked by the massacre but wants to take advantage of the opportunity. Although not ready, they organize themselves and on August 2nd, Ilinden, 1900, they raise the Ilinden Uprising.

Immediately after the rise of the uprising, the Republic of Krushevo was created with an insurgent government and Nikola Karev as president. Due to the destabilization in the administration of the Ottoman Empire, they are unable to raise enough troops to quell the uprising. On January 5, 1901, the Krushevo Republic, which has now expanded from Skopje to Solun, proclaimed the formation of the Macedonian Republic, but it is still at war. While the Ilinden Uprising continues, other nations rise up against the Ottomans. The Balkans from 1900 to 1910 is in a total war where uprisings and newly formed states fight among themselves and against the Ottomans. For a moment, the commander of the northern army, Goce Delchev, occupies Belgrade. During the war for independence, Jane Sandanski stopped the Ottoman army at Kyustendil, saving the Republic. Sergeant Kamenov was left here together with his platoon from Sandanski. Kamenov will never forget this "Betrayal".

During the war for independence (1900-1910), the railway on the territory of the Republic of Krushevo was almost completely cut off from the external system due to the war. With the arrival of peace in 1910, the transport system was connected to the outside world and due to financial problems was privatized. The company that got the system is the Solun Transport Agency (STA). In 1917, before the end of the first world war, a group of privateers organized themselves and started robbing the old "Orient Express" line. Due to the unrest and general freedom without government in the years after the war, a large number of gangs/mafias are formed that control their regions from the railway. These gangs often clash and are violent towards anyone who does not pay a fee for "safe" passage through the their territory. Before the elections in 1935/36 in Sopotnica in Demirhisar a gang called Cinkari carried out the so-called "Black Massacre". This shocked the public and the problems with the railway cannot be ignored, therefore regardless of the result of the elections the people will demand revenge.

On October 11, 1910, the country received peace with the Treaty of Constantinople, where the Republic of Macedonia became an independent country and strengthened its borders with other countries. Although the war is over, the government is unstable and has big problems

The first president of the independent state was the commander of the southern army Pitu Guli, but he died in the battle near Skopje when in 1916 Bulgaria entered the territory of Macedonia to reach Serbia. After the end of the First World War, Macedonia is very unstable and due to the Great Depression, it is in crisis. Many extreme parties are formed and VMRO itself is divided. Although politics is divided, everyone is united towards one thing – Erasing any Bulgarian influence in the country.

In 1934, a mysterious family arrives from Bavaria who claim to be the heirs to the line of King Samuil. Although a large part of the people do not believe them, they still gain a large number of followers. In 1926 VMRO disintegrated and several parties were formed, the main ones being: VMRO D, VMRO S, VMRO N, New Macedonia and the club of old leaders known as Ilindenci, which consists of the already aged leaders of the Ilinden Uprising.
There are also the independent union of the army, which is a group of officers from the ARM who formed a party
The CPM is divided between Cento and Kolishevski.
On December 22, 1935, the first elections of the new government were held because from 1910 to 1935, due to instability, the republic had a provisional government.
When the player comes to the game he will decide the result of the election.

The choices are:

Samoil’s Dinasty from where you can reunite his kingdom. (it’s up to the player if the family is lying or not)
KPM with Cento, with which Macedonia will become a social democracy
KPM with Kolishevski, with which Macedonia will either become part of SFRY and then either be neutral or can join the USSR as the JSSR or only as Macedonia as the MSSR
The right wing with the support of the Officers can bring the Empire back to Alexander
New Macedonia or VMRO Ilinden is the "historical" path and it is democratic
The right and the center can make Macedonia nationalist and proclaim Greater Macedonia
The Falangist camp, which are like the Nazis and deal with the racial, biological and ethnic purity of the Macedonian nation, also appeared in these elections. They are led either by Nikola Kamenov, who started as general secretary of the Left VMRO but left it, or by Antonio Gramski, who is an Italian Croat.
The ARM is divided between the committees that fought in the Ilinden Uprising, the War of Independence (1900-1910) and the First World War led by Duke Jane Sandanski and the Reformists led by Colonel Mihailo Apostolski.
