Voices For Portugal
The purpose of this mod is singular: add voice lines to Portugese land divisions. I have added 23 lines (which I acquired from Age of Empires III) to the game whenever you select your divisions, are in combat, or move. Because there were not many voice lines for a single unit, I took lines from a couple – so you may hear two or so different voices when you select.
There should be no compatibility issues with this mod – including Ironman and major overhaul mods. I had no proiblem using this with R56 and Millenium dawn. This is because all the mod changes are voice lines for Portugal.
Given that I now have access to some Portuguese lines, expect to see a similar mod to this adding lines to Brazil. I did not want to just copy and paste the same lines – I wanted to have things a little different (in case people use both the mods at once).
Other countries I plan on adding voice lines for:
– Colombia
– Mexico (and possibly other South/Central American Spanish speaking countries)
– Austria (I don’t want to just copy and paste the regular HOI4 German division voices for this)
– Iraq (I could perhaps make a voice "pack" that adds Arabic lines to Iraq, Syria and Egypt)
– South Africa
– Chinese Minors
And of course, Brazil. If you have any countries else that you would like me to try and add some voice files for, don’t hesitate to let me know.
