OWB ERX Panama Canal + Down Long Rivers

This is a small mod to Old World Blues and Enclave Reborn – Redux which combines two of my mods, Panama Canal and Down Long Rivers.

Enclave Reborn Redux – Panama Canal adds the Panama Canal as a constructable strait from Honduras, allowing ships to pass through the sea zone off the coast of Guatemala and come out in the center of the Caribbean Sea off the coast of Honduras.

The canal can be reconstructed and repaired via decision. The decision can be taken by the Enclave once Honduras has either been befriended, conquered, or puppeted.

This mod does NOT change the map or add any lands or new nations which exist south of Honduras. It simply adds some small flavor with a little bit of functionality.

OWB – Down the Long Rivers adds two ‘straits’ which allow free movement between the Gulf of Mexico at the mouth of the Mississippi River and the Southern Red River/Middle Missouri River. Helps to prevent navies from becoming trapped by their own deployments.

Known issues include a possibility of navies attempting to navigate The Forbidden Zone waterways, where they may become stuck if they lack the proper range to see the journey through.

Compatibility:

Mod requires both Old World Blues and Enclave Reborn – Redux.

Mod does not require either OWB – Down the Long Rivers or Panama Canal <Compatible>. Only add either Panama Canal, Down the Long Rivers, or this mod to your playset.

FAQ:

"Why is the Panama Canal in Honduras?"

It’s not. The "canal" being in Honduras is just a representation of the existence of the canal, which is, of course, in Panama. Honduras was the most logical location, in my mind, to put that representation, since logistics to the Panama Canal would likely be routed through or affected by Honduras.
