The Collapse of Central Powers

1.Germany and Hungary Fall to Communism:

The prolonged stalemate of World War I leads to widespread disillusionment and unrest in Germany and Hungary. Inspired by the Russian Revolution, communist uprisings sweep through both countries.

The German Kaiser flees to Tanzania, seeking refuge from the revolutionaries. In Hungary, the communist movement topples the monarchy, establishing a communist government.

Turmoil in France and Russia

2.France Under Pétain:

Northern France, initially succumbing to communist uprisings, is eventually reclaimed by conservative forces. However, the internal strife leads to the collapse of the Third Republic.

Philippe Pétain, a military hero, seizes power and establishes a militarist regime, promising stability and order. The new French State adopts authoritarian policies to suppress dissent and rebuild the nation.

3. Russia’s White Movement:

The White Movement survives the Russian Civil War, but under Admiral Alexander Kolchak, it transforms into a military junta. Democracy is abolished in favor of strict military control to prevent the resurgence of Bolshevism.

The Ottoman and Chinese Empires

4.Communist Ottoman Empire:

The Ottoman Empire collapses under the pressure of internal strife and external threats. Communist factions seize control, leading to the establishment of a communist state in the heart of the Middle East.

5.Yuan Shikai’s Survival:

In China, Yuan Shikai manages to defeat the Kuomintang and various rebel factions, maintaining the Empire of China in the north. The Beiyang government is established, focusing on modernization and stability amidst a fragmented nation.

The Great Depression and American Civil War

6.The 1927 Depression:

The global economic downturn in 1927 exacerbates political and social tensions worldwide. In the United States, economic hardship leads to the Second American Civil War in 1932.

Huey Long emerges as the leader of the Confederate States of America (CSA), establishing a new nation in the southern states, while other factions vie for control in the remaining territories.

The United Kingdom and Fascism

7.Fascist Britain:

The United Kingdom, facing economic hardship and political instability, succumbs to a fascist movement by the late 1920s. The new regime promises to restore British glory and stability through authoritarian measures.
