The iron grip of the Nazi Party strangled Germany for more than three decades, and the order of National Socialism was established amidst the smoke of the great war. In The New Order that dominated Europe, there was no place left for the people and worker.
Beneath the skies where the Iron Cross eagle soared, laborers were sent to state factories to drain their sweat and blood; beside the towering red-and-white swastika flag, slaves were driven into concentration camps to work until death. The people never lacked the courage to resist, nor the heroic fighters to stand up. Workers who rose in defiance fell under the gunfire of the police, and students who raised their arms saw their blood spilled across squares and streets.
The people’s fury converged into a torrent of resistance, and their struggle forged the vanguard of revolution. The Socialist Unity Party of Germany was born from the flames of revolutionary struggle; under the leadership of this vanguard, the proletariat would bury the Nazis and the new order they had built in the same grave.
The torch of the November Revolution never went out. In another great struggle, more than forty years later, it will be raised high again by millions of proletarians. Wherever its light reaches, hope will once again awaken in the eyes of the suffering people.
On this hard-pressed land that has sunk into sorrow for decades, amid the ruins of The New Order, what will rise is a brand-new socialist republic!

Under the leadership of the glorious and great SED, the people of Europe have endured countless hardships to achieve a new liberation. Yet this does not signify the end of Nazi forces—it is merely the first step in the socialist Long March. The joy of revolutionary victory crowns the SED with the laurel of liberation. However, facing the monumental task of rapidly controlling and taking over half of Europe, young party members inevitably found themselves losing direction.
