Updates various aspects of the game to try a make the game feel more consistent and historically accurate (hopefully without ruining any semblance of balance).

If you have any suggestions or bugs, please let me know!

Updated Countries: Soviet Union, England, USA, Japan, France, China, PRC, Commonwealth Nations (South Africa WIP), Romania, Netherlands, Poland, Yugoslavia

General:
– Shortened many focuses
– Added decision to add a research slot to every nation (1 time, player only)
– Funds per IC per day increased to 0.13 (was 0.1 which means 30% more funds from production)
– Civilian Economy and Early Mob. Economy Laws no longer reduce civilian factory construction
– Reduced civilian construction nerf on Undisturbed Isolation and Isolation
– Free Trade resources to market now 75% (might change)
– Many MIO’s no longer locked behind focuses (some still are) (some nations I haven’t gotten to yet)
– Many focuses now give funds for the appropriate MIO
– Added railways, supply hubs, and ports in various places
– Buffed/Nerfed some ideas

Technology:
– Moved Mechanized 1 to 1939 tech (more historical)
– Added bonus Refit speed to Conversion techs
– Infantry Anti-Tank now 1941 tech
– Reduced cost of initial special forces tech (2.0 to 1.5 cost)
– Reduced research cost of heavy tanks 2 and 3
– Moved dual purpose 1 and 2 to 1937 tech

Balance:
– Balanced changes to various aircraft modules to increase variety of builds (WIP)
– Reduce fighter attack power by reducing slots available for guns (reduced by 1 except for basic and early light airframe) (total slots unchanged)
– Reduce supply hub cost to 16000 (was 20000)
– Reduce size for policy by 1 (above level 4 now)
– Rebalance some tank modules for more variety and balance (Ex. Autoloading increasing hard and soft attack but reducing reliability)
– Buff destroyer survivability (more for the early destroyers)
– Buff early battleship hull base speed (+2 knots)
– Carriers and Heavy ship hulls have had their base cost reduced slightly
– Increased supply from transport aircraft
– Nerfed High agility MIO slightly
– Buffed Light long range MIO Slightly
– Extra funds to CAS designers
– Light three man turret has been buffed and can now mount medium guns but moved to 1941 tech

England:
– Changed Sten trait in Infantry weapons MIO to a production bonus
– Reverted PIAT trait to default AT mines trait (this trait bonus makes more sense for Germany considering their iconic AT weapons)
– Added Advanced Armor Piercing Rounds to Artillery MIO

Japan:
– Supremacy of the Battle Fleet no longer mutually exclusive
– Some focuses now grant appropriate XP
– Buffed Supremacy of Technology branch
– Supremacy of Will now grants +5% Experienced soldier Losses (Banzai charging typically isn’t very good for conserving experienced soldiers)

Netherlands:
– Fokker now a multi-role aircraft designer with a unique trait

China (and PRC):
– Inflation now gives +5 trade opinion per level of inflation
– Added XP bonuses and funds to navy and air tree

USA:
– Douglas Aircraft Company can now produce transport planes and has additional traits for them
– Changed Initial trait for Douglas and North American
– Air Support and Strategic Bombing no longer mutually exclusive
– Added Ford as an armoured car designer
– Replaced bolt action rifles and semi-auto rifles with two new traits in the infantry equipment MIO
– US Air Force idea changed and added new US Army Airforce idea added to differentiate them (are also now mutually exclusive)

France:
– Updated military branch

Soviet Union:
– Added Yakovlev (Fighters) as a high agility designer (Mig still available but historically didn’t do that much during this time)
– Ilyushin can now design cas (and cv cas) with a unique trait (will continue to look into this)
– Now has 4 research slots by default
– New idea Brain Drain reduces research speed by 8% (removed via focus)
– Added Decision to skip the purge (just for fun)

Romania:
– Added Resita as a tank refurbishment MIO for Romania
