El Momento de la Verdad
This submod aims to bring more content to Spain and its many regional peoples in the wonderful world of Kaiserredux, updating the content already present in the mod up to a more enjoyable standards. Focus trees are overhauled with new focuses for the democratic parties, new events are present to make the world a little more lively, and new buffs are added to make Spain feel quite a bit better to play.
Initial update focuses on the Kingdom of Spain, with the democratic paths for the Kingdom being the largest part of development. Avoiding the civil war, you will have access to eight democratic paths, ranging from the moderate syndicalists of Partido Sindicalista all the way to the Paternal Autocrat traditionalist legionaries of Partido Nacionalista Español, with all the ideologies in between these two appearing in elections as well. However, should the Kingdom of Spain attempt to return to authoritarian rule after the civil war was averted, the regionalist actors of Spain will rise up and defy the rule of Madrid, allowing you to swap to the independent Basque Republic, Catalonia, Galicia and the Rif Republic. Only Basques have content as of now, but the rest will get their own trees in the future. Basques can either support the democratic resurgence in their nation, though if these attempts fail, a new Syndicalist, Jacobin Communist or Carlist order may very well rise over Euskadi.
The mod is still in active development and as it is scripted only by me, there may very well be issues, so do report them either here on Steam, or on the Kaiserredux official Discord, on the #kx-submods-chat, you can find me there by the Discord handle Immortal Jörmund. Next update will either be focused on additions to the Basque tree, as that was my first modding project and still quite rough, or alternatively, the Catalan tree as well as the tree for Socialist Spain.
