*** Updated for Barbarossa v1.11.* and No Step Back ***
Now Tested and updated with v1.11.5 open beta.
Cut the cost for the leader events if you keep Senate Approval high.
Updated to use new ‘character’ system for advisors, high command, Field Marshalls, Generals, and Admirals.
No longer allows Advisor, High Command, and Field Command ‘double-dipping’. Ike can’t be Army CiC and be active in the field commanding troops simultaneously.
Requires 50+ percent Senate approval to change Cabinet Ministers and Military High Command.
Tested with v1.10.1 Release and v1.10.2_beta.
No longer allows High Command and Field Command ‘double-dipping’. Ike can’t be Army CiC and be active in the field commanding troops simultaneously.
Requires 50+ percent Senate approval to change Cabinet Ministers
Tested with v1.9.1 Release and v1.9.2_beta.
Added Joseph Rochefort as code breaker. The guy that tipped Nimitz to Midway deserves a spot.
Added some spies for USA – Moe Berg, Sterling Hayden, Stephanie Rader and more, and bumped up max spy slots available.
Changed some other advisors around – Stimson and Knox get buffed, but you can’t get them until the Axis is on the march.
Feedback appreciated as PDX keeps updating….
Changed formula so Promotions cost less PP, especially if your Senate Approval is high.
Updated templates – Cavalry Recon Support out and motorized recon in.
Compatibilty version – attempting to make this work with Road to 56, may help with other module compatibility issues.
*** Updated for Hydra, version 1.7.1 ***
24-Jul-2019 – Fixed bug where US conversion Carriers (Lexington & Saratoga) had the ‘gun’ type, now is the ‘airplane’ type.
5/17/2019 – In MtG, the USA now gets General Alexander Vandegrift from National Focus "Intervention in Asia", so I needed to change my event that added that same general.
If the two Vandegrifts ever met face to face it could cause a tear in the space/time fabric……
If you get your Vandegrift from the focus first, the event will then give you General Merritt A Edson.
If you do not do the focus before the event, the event gives you Vandegrift, then the focus then gives you Edson when you do take the focus.
Also lowered the cost of the events after test playing, MtG added other uses for PP also, so I felt a reduction was needed.
03/24/2019 – Added Admirals Thomas L. Sprague, Aubrey W. Fitch, and Frederick C. Sherman.
This mod adds many US Generals and Admirals that are not in the vanilla version of the game, but not all at the start.
Generals and Admirals get added by Promotion Board Events. A list of new generals, new admirals, and promotions are presented at different times.
The player can select all, just generals, just admirals, or none at all. Each choice has a cost in Political Power to have the promotions approved by the Senate.
The cost is 10 for each general, 20 for each Admiral, and 30 for a Field Marshal. This base cost is adjusted according to your approval in the US Senate.
Most US Generals and Admirals from the vanilla game are removed at the start.
All this is based on Date of Rank (as near as Wiki can tell me).
