Kaiserredux Anime Mod: Seinenredux

This mod is standalone from the Kaiserredux Anime Mod: Moeredux, however, it is highly recommended to use the two together if you want to keep the whole anime style, as it is unfinished.
Furthermore, the information of Kaiserredux should be iterated here: Do NOT run Kaiserreich and Kaiserredux at the same time!

Seinenreduxis an anime submod for Kaiserredux that seeks to replace every in-game portrait with an anime counterpart and still stick to the spirit of Kaiserredux with nearly five thousand portraits, hundreds of event pictures, an updated and non-intrusive UI, new unit voices, and much more!

Seinenredux should NOT change your checksum, as it is a graphics and sound only submod. Save files made when Seinenredux was turned off will still work, and vice versa!

As of the posted date, I’m currently working on the following.

☑ Adding an anime UI for research, aces, espionage, laws and more.
☑ Adding portraits and actually finishing the entire roster.
☑ Adding unique music and images to superevents.

In the far-flung future, I hope to do the following:

Q: Help, the images aren’t loading! What is happening?
A: Very often, what causes a graphical mod like Seinenredux to not work is either your Kaiserredux or Seinenredux mod files not being updated, or you are using another graphical mod that interferes with Seinenredux. First, please verify your cache in order to make sure all of your mod files are updated to their latest versions. Second, if the problems persist, then please turn off any other graphical change mods that you might have turned on. If the issue remains, feel free to make a comment explaining your issue.

Q: Does this work with the Git version of Kaiserredux?
A: It will to an extent. Anything new that the Git has added, such as portrait renames or new portraits, will not be moefied, but everything else will be. I only update Seienenredux for Steam version updates, so if you want those portraits to be moefied you’ll either have to play the Steam version of KX or wait for this mod to update when KX does.

Q: What about multiplayer and save game compatibility?
A: Seinenredux is a graphics only mod that will never break a save game nor will it cause sync issues, beyond HOI4’s usual antics, in multiplayer.

Q: Will this mod still run if Kaiserredux or HOI4 updates?
A: Seinenredux doesn’t alter any gameplay, events or history files, so it won’t break anything on the graphical side, other than you seeing a few real men.

Q: What should I do if I find a glitch, portrait error or some other issue?
A: Please put it into the bug report discussion box or join the Project Moe discord and discuss the problem in the appropriate channel. I am most likely NOT going to see any comments about bug reports, so please use those methods should you wish to report any errors or glitches.

Q: Can I get the source for [art x]?
A: Please join the Project Moe Discord server if you want sources on images. Requests made on Steam will be ignored, the comments section is for feedback only.

Q: Is there a list with sources for all portraits in the mod?
A: No because there’s 4000+ portraits in the mod and maintaining a gallery like that would be impossible.

Q: Can I have the loading screens?
A: Soon.

Q: Are you going to do anime versions for other major mods?
A: Perhaps I shall make this compatible with Kaiserreich in the far future, but that’s only a maybe.
