This submod for The Fire Rises (TFR) introduces a brand new Generic National Focus Tree designed specifically to enhance gameplay for minor nations, unaligned states, or any country that starts without an army.
One of the biggest challenges in HOI4—especially in TFR’s more complex geopolitical setting—is playing as a nation with no military foundation. This focus tree addresses that by offering early-game paths to generate Army Experience, unlock basic templates, and begin military development even if you start with zero divisions or doctrine.
