More Tanks
This mod adds:
Light tanks and variants for 1943,1945
-Medium " for 1945
-Heavy " for 1945
-Superheavy – an improved version of the t1000 for 1945
-Speedbuffs for motorized upon researching light tank templates
I hated the idea of just having a modern tank in reach after 1943 and no real alternative to pursue the idea of light tanks. It resulted in the fact I didnt optimize or played around templates after a fairly early point in the game, since its just a few months for modern tanks. Also its stupid to switch the complete templates, losing troop exp in the process.
I didnt like it so I changed it.
I kept it rather simple with just those types till 1945 since i hate mods that revamp the entire feeling of the game and add too much sometimes. The stats are fair and pretty much balanced since they follow the numbers of the basegame as you can see in the excel sheet.
The light tanks will mostly specialize on speed and soft attack while the heavy tanks more on hard attack and related stuff. Medium tanks will be right in the middle but wont excell at anything.
If you want to help:
I open towards suggestions for names for France, Soviets, Italy, Usa and Japan or custom tank pics if you can do that for example 🙂
Updates:
– Now it shows tank pictures for the major power and black ones for the minors like in the base game. Only german
models look customized atm.
– German translation is now included.
– Added the Ratte as T1000 super heavy tank variant
(Pic taken from the internet just google and you will find it pretty easily)
Remember that this mod is optional and that you dont have to play it if you dont like idea.
