Italy Portraits
I got tired of the limitations of Italian generals and generic portraits, so I have begun (amateurly) colorizing photos of historical Italian military leaders from Wikipedia and putting them into the game.
Current list:
Amedio Guillet:
(from Wiki) Amedeo Guillet (February 7, 1909 – June 16, 2010) was an officer of the Italian Army. Dying at the age of 101, he was one of the last men to have commanded cavalry in war. He was nicknamed Devil Commander[1] and was famous during the Italian guerrilla war in Ethiopia in 1941, 1942 and 1943 because of his courage.
Gabriele Nasci:
(from Wiki) Gabriele Nasci (3 October 1887 – Venice – 12 April 1947) was a general in the Royal Italian Army who commanded the Librazhd Sector during the World War II Axis invasion of Yugoslavia in April 1941.[1] He commanded the Alpini Corps from 1942 until 1943, and allied himself with the Yugoslavian partisans following the Italian armistice.
Clemente Primieri:
(from Wiki)
Clemente Primieri (12 May 1894 – 15 February 1981) was an Italian general, best known for being the leader of Gruppo di Combattimento Cremona, one of the units of the Italian Co-Belligerent Army which fought alongside the Allies in the latter part of World War II.
Ettore Batistico:
(from Wiki) Ettore Bastico (9 April 1876 – 2 December 1972) was an Italian military officer before and during World War II. In addition to being a general of the Royal Italian Army, he was also a senator and governor. He held high commands during the Second Italo-Abyssinian War (Ethiopia), the Spanish Civil War, and the North African Campaign.
