For King and Country – King George VI Mod
From the creator of "King George VI – Leader of Britain…"
After I lost the files for the mod mentioned previously, I made a new one, however this one has much more content. Instead of King George VI being the starting leader, the Kings of Britain become leader according to events in the game (ex. King George V dies on January 20, 1936, and after the event fires that tells you he has passed, Edward VIII becomes leader).
As of right now, there are no new National Focuses, but this may change in the future.
Q: I see Edward VIII as a General in the pictures for the mod, but don’t see him in the List of Generals in the game when I start it. Why is this?
A: Edward VIII only becomes a General when he abdicates and George VI becomes King and Leader. This is semi-historical as Edward VIII did serve in the British Military after his abdication, though not as a General.
Q: Why doesn’t George VI start as the Leader?
A: As mentioned above, the Kings become Leader according to events. George VI won’t become the leader of Britain until December 1936.
