—Q1: Why design the Turkish rebellion event and the Balance of Power?
—A1: First, the recent controversy over the "Graveyard of Empires" DLC by Paradox due to core issues has prompted the design of the Turkish rebellion event and the Balance of Power to rationalize the core mechanics. Second, the "Second Turkish War of Independence" provided in this mod introduces a challenging mechanism where Turks can rebel everywhere, disrupting your front lines and simulating real uprising scenarios for players to challenge in difficult mode.
—Q2: I’m tired of the original Byzantine route, what new experiences does this mod offer?
—A2: You can choose the Byzantine start to unify in the game rules, and you can also challenge yourself to establish the Roman Empire with Greece. By selecting the "Holy Eastern Roman Empire" option at the start, you can experience the Roman tradition of civil wars, where a military district commander can ascend to the throne.
—Follow the original Byzantine line, defeat enemies, and activate the decision to rebuild Byzantium to trigger the balance of power and Turkish rebellion event chain
—Prevent Turkish rebellion:
Select the "Vanilla" option for "Second Turkish War of Independence" in the game rules
Or promptly select decisions in the "Balance of Power"
—"Encourage" Turkish rebellion:
Do not select the "Vanilla" option for "Second Turkish War of Independence" in the game rules
Do not select decisions in the "Balance of Power" before choosing the right options in the "Anatolian Turkish Unrest" event
—Switch to the Communist line:
When the "Handle Anatolian Issues" decision group appears, select the "‘Liberate’ Anatolian Workers" decision, defeat the Turkish army, then select "Restore Order in Asia Minor" and wait for the event to switch to the Red line
—Switch to the Democratic/Neutral line:
Intentionally lose in the Turkish War of Independence, then…
—You can establish Byzantium from the original Communist line, but it is recommended to follow the independent Communist line instead of the Stalin line
—You can also establish Byzantium from the original Democratic line (Not recommended)
—I have great respect for Turkish nationalism, and you can even choose to play as the Turkish rebels after the uprising occurs. This mod does not aim to spark controversy over national relations, and I kindly ask players to approach it with a rational mindset.
—This mod provides English localization.
