● Germany Expanded: A Complete Overhaul
Let’s be honest, the vanilla German focus tree has started to feel a bit limited after all these years. We’ve all played the same few paths dozens of times, and I felt it was time for something that offered more depth and actual strategic choices. Germany Expanded is my attempt to fix that, offering a massive array of political paths and historical flavor to keep the game fresh.

• 🛠 No DLC Required
First things first: You do NOT need the Götterdämmerung DLC. I’ve made sure every new path, mechanic, and tree works perfectly even if you don’t own the latest expansion. I wanted this to be accessible to everyone in the community.

☆ 🌍 Choose Your Destiny (Expanded Paths)

● The Succession Crisis: Everything changes when the unthinkable happens. If Hitler falls to an assassination attempt, the Reich is thrown into a brutal power struggle. Navigate the internal chaos and choose who emerges from the shadow of the Führer: Heinrich Himmler, Hermann Göring, Felix Steiner, Joseph Goebbels, or Albert Speer.

●The Greater Führer Path: If the Führer survives, prepare for a massive overhaul with more depth and decisions. Choose between the New Order to reshape the world under your iron grip or the Endsieg, a desperate total war for survival. Be warned: if the front lines crumble and you cannot survive the Endsieg, you may find a way to escape to Argentina to live another day.

● The Monarchist Restoration (Choose Your Crown):

• The Imperial Classic: Restore the Old German Empire and rebuild the Central Powers. Bring your old allies back into the fold and force the Entente to their knees in a rematch of the Great War.

• The Aggressive Empire: Start by annexing Czechoslovakia and evolve into a relentless campaign to unify the continent under one crown. A path of pure conquest for those who want a Napoleonic German Empire.

• The German Federation: A stable and traditional approach. Call the Prince of Prussia to the throne and lead a Federation focused on German unity.

• The Holy Roman Empire: Seek ancient glory by restoring the HRE and establishing a new European Hegemony. Lead Kaiser Wilhelm back to his roots, but beware: if he dies in a London accident, Queen Victoria will take the throne.

• The Habsburg Ambition: Rebuild the ties of the old dual monarchy. This path allows for deep customization, including crowning Otto von Habsburg as the King of Hungary or Archduke Karl Albrecht as the King of Poland.

● The Strasserist Dream (European Union): Follow Otto Strasser to move away from madness. Unify the German people and spearhead the creation of a European Union based on powerful economic alliances and trade pacts.

● Military Rule (The General’s Junta): Let the Wehrmacht take control. Choose between different General Juntas, each with unique leaders. You can choose to partition conquered lands or build strategic alliances with other European states to ensure military stability.

● The Red Tide: A fully fleshed-out Communist experience. Go beyond the basics by leading a Stalinist purge, sparking a Trotskyist global revolution, or establishing a Communal Council to rewrite Germany’s social contract.

● The Path of Liberty: A revamped Democratic tree with two directions. Choose the Peaceful Democracy to build a unified European Union and lead a crusade to purge Communism from the continent. Alternatively, take an Aggressive Democratic stance where you will establish a firm European Hegemony by force. This path will face the hostility of almost all of Europe, forcing you to align with either the USA or the USSR to reshape the global order.

●The Path of Anarchism: Explore the visions of Gustav Landauer. While taking the path of Pure Anarchism shatters the global balance, you can still navigate this chaos through unique economic policies and the signing of Social Contracts to redefine how your society functions without a state.

● ⚔️ What’s New?
• Full Focus Overhaul: Every single branch of the focus tree has been expanded and reworked. Focus times and rewards have been meticulously optimized to ensure a smooth, rewarding, and balanced gameplay experience from start to finish.
• Custom GFX & Portraits: High-quality, unique portraits have been added for all new leaders, along with historical icons for every new focus and decision to enhance immersion.
• New Generals: Added several historical commanders who were missing from the base game.
• Enhanced Shared Tree: Reworked progression system for a more rewarding and logical experience.
• Immersive Detail: Hundreds of small tweaks, historical events, and flavor text to make each run feel unique.

🤝 Compatibility & Synergy
• Agora & Reichskommissariats+: Fully compatible. Running these together provides a massive amount of depth for any Germany run.
• General Compatibility: Works fine with most GFX and AI mods.

🕵️‍♂️ Keep Your Eyes Open…
• I’ve hidden quite a few Easter Eggs throughout the mod. Certain rare conditions or specific decisions can trigger events you won’t see coming. See if you can find them all!
