Ultimatums [UPDATED]
Send ultimatums to countries, now with functional, non-breaking News Events!
This is a small maintenance update to the original “Ultimatums” mod created by sjplayer01 and HarDar6605.
Over time, the original scripting for the ultimatum News Events became outdated and began to break vanilla News Events across the entire game.
This update fixes that issue so the mod works correctly on modern HOI4 versions again.
⭐ What this update does:
– Fixes the broken News Event scripting
– Restores correct ROOT/FROM handling for ultimatum notifications
– Ensures the sender receives the proper reaction text
– Ensures all countries receive the ultimatum news correctly
– Prevents this mod from overriding or breaking vanilla News Events
– Restores compatibility with the current HOI4 version
Everything else in the mod remains exactly as the original creators designed it.
