OuluMod
OuluMod is a not-so-serious glance at an alternate history where the Finnish city of Oulu fractured into small independent microstates.
The biggest addition of the mod is the map of Oulu. In addition to it, OuluMod adds several national focus trees and events that advance the story. The city center (Keskusta), Tuira and Kempele are the major countries that have the most content. Along with that, the game has a new generic national focus tree, and many countries have unique branches along with it. Above all, OuluMod offers the player a free sandbox where they can play in their desired style. Although the game currently lacks major "unhistorical" paths, playing against the story is not forbidden.
Oulumod is part of the Oulu2026 cultural programme and cultural climate change. Oulu is the European Capital of Culture for the year 2026. Oulu and the entire northern Finland will be filled with culture, art, and events in the coming years. Northern Finland will rise to the world map in an unprecedented way as Finnish and international cultural experts create something new in cities, countryside, and nature. It is a journey spanning several years, culminating in the year 2026.
About the latest major update (2026.1.0):
Added two new terrain types, suburban and industrial zone.

Designated the bicycle infantry as special forces.

– The owners of Arms Against Tyranny get access to a Bicycle special forces doctrine.
Added a new non-historical national focus branch to Myllyoja.
– The branch allows Myllyoja to restore the Rural Municipality of Oulu as an Ouluist state
Minor changes
– Slightly improved the Industrial Aid Fund mechanic of Kempele.
– Fixed problems with focuses that spawn divisions.
– Fixed focuses that construct special research facilities.
– Some other small things I don’t remember.
