The Story of The Opposition Mod
*The Opposition* explores an alternative world where Mustafa Kemal never found the opportunity to ignite the fire of rebellion in Anatolia, and the Middle East has been occupied by the United States. In this alternative universe, you can either become a collaborator protecting American interests or rise up against the American Order to defend your nation’s values.
These new alternative scenarios lead you into World War II with hundreds of different possibilities. The immersive focus tree structure and custom new mechanics ensure a fun and deep experience throughout your playthrough.
Shortly after Mustafa Kemal Pasha ignited the spark of complete independence, his sudden death plunged the other pashas into great chaos. While some sought to continue the struggle, others did not want to pursue the impossible and instead saw seeking the protection of another state as the easiest path. In this environment, following the Pasha’s funeral, a new congress convened, and Anatolia entered into an American mandate. Great Britain and France, wishing to implement the Sykes–Picot Agreement, could not withstand the powerful United States, which had entered the war in its final stages. They were soon forced to leave the rich resources and strategic bases of the Middle East to Washington.
While there are pashas in Anatolia walking in line with Mustafa Kemal’s ideals, the Green Army seeking independence through Moscow is also present. Turning to the Balkans, under the leadership of Osman IV, we see Ottoman princes who do not accept the empire’s collapse following the defeat in the war. In Central Asia, the Basmachi are strengthening their organized struggle against the Soviets day by day.
Now, the fate of Anatolia, the Balkans, and Central Asia is in your hands. Will you be the one to bring freedom to these lands, or will you fall into the ranks of collaborators like those before you?

Open the game, go to the Playsets section, and activate the downloaded "The Opposition" and "Chinese Patch".
