Now you can achieve that with **R56 Submod: Wehrmacht Auto-Focus Delegation**.

This Road to 56 Germany submod adds a new decision-based **auto-focus delegation system** for the German military branches. Instead of manually taking every Army, Luftwaffe, or Kriegsmarine national focus through your main focus slot, you can delegate selected military focuses to the appropriate high command branch.

The system is built around the German high command:

* **OKH** handles Army / Heer focuses
* **OKL** handles Luftwaffe / Air Force focuses
* **OKM** handles Kriegsmarine / Navy focuses

Your country leadership can continue focusing on politics, industry, economy, diplomacy, or other national focus tree paths while the Wehrmacht high command slowly works through delegated military planning.

## Main Features

This mod adds a dedicated **Wehrmacht Auto-Focus Delegation** decision category for Germany in Road to 56.

Through this category, you can assign available military national focuses to:

* **OKH** for German Army, Heer, land doctrine, motorized, panzer, artillery, logistics, defensive, and late-war Army focuses
* **OKL** for Luftwaffe, air force, fighters, bombers, radar, air defense, night fighters, aircraft research, and air warfare focuses
* **OKM** for Kriegsmarine, navy, shipbuilding, carriers, battleships, U-boats, raiding, Atlantic bases, and naval warfare focuses

The mod covers the German **Army**, **Air Force**, and **Navy** focus branches from Road to 56 and turns them into available delegation decisions when the original focus would normally be pickable.

## How It Works

The delegated focus decisions follow the Road to 56 German focus tree logic. A delegated focus only appears when its original national focus is available to be picked.

The mod respects:

* focus prerequisites
* mutually exclusive paths
* original available conditions
* focus completion checks
* active branch delegation locks
* shared / joint military focuses

When a delegated decision finishes, it completes the corresponding national focus using the actual Road to 56 focus reward.

That means the mod does **not** manually copy focus rewards. It uses the original R56 national focus itself, so the real Road to 56 Germany focus effects are preserved.

## Separate High Command Slots

Each military branch can handle one delegated task at a time.

This means you can have:

* one OKH Army task active
* one OKL Luftwaffe task active
* one OKM Kriegsmarine task active

at the same time, while your main national focus slot remains free.

Joint military focuses correctly occupy more than one branch. For example:

* **Combined Arms** uses both Army and Luftwaffe delegation
* **Establish Carrier Groups** uses both Luftwaffe and Kriegsmarine delegation

This keeps the system logical and prevents overlapping military delegation where it would not make sense.

## Balance

Delegating military planning is powerful, but it is intentionally slower and more expensive than taking the focus normally.

Compared to a normal national focus:

* **Political Power cost is doubled**
* **Duration is tripled**

For example:

* a 35-day focus costs 70 PP and takes 105 days
* a 70-day focus costs 140 PP and takes 210 days

The idea is simple: you are not personally focusing the full state apparatus on that task, so the military branch can work on it separately, but it takes longer and consumes more political power.

This makes the system useful without turning it into a free extra focus slot.

## Status Display

The decision category includes a clear status display for each branch:

* **OKH: Available / Unavailable**
* **OKL: Available / Unavailable**
* **OKM: Available / Unavailable**

When a branch is already working on a delegated focus, it becomes unavailable until the current task is completed.

This mod is designed for **Germany in Road to 56**. It is not intended as a vanilla Germany submod or a universal auto-focus system for every country.

Because this mod adds gameplay decisions and changes progression, it is **not achievement compatible**.

## AI

The AI is not allowed to use this system.

This is intentional. The auto-focus delegation mechanic is designed for the player, because the AI would not understand the strategic trade-off between political power, focus timing, branch availability, and military planning priorities.
