What if Sweden joined the centralpowers in WW1?
Sweden joins the centralpowers and is able to conquer finland. This ends the war on the eastern front faster.
But because sweden was not a powerfull ally the Centralpowers still lost the war. Sweden was able to keep Åland because of the cultural and laguage similarities but Sweden had to pay a big sum to the entante. This crippled the Swedish economy and the country fell into a depression. This gave rise to the swedish nazi party led by Eric von Rosen.
Rosen takes power in a German supported coup in 1934.
After the coup a coallition is form bettwen several democratic ideologies to make a counter coup. The coallition is led by former general and WW1 warhero Oscar Nygren.
