Arsenal of Democracy – USA Reworked

Compatible with 1.5.4

This mod reworks USA and makes it into the Arsenal of Democracy when it goes to war. It gradually enables an increase in production efficiency as the war progresses for land/sea/air vehicles and equipment. Adds several new technologies and units which I felt was lacking in the base game. Reworks the national focus tree adding many new focuses while also adding flavor names and equipment.

It is not made with balance as a primary focus, but to reflect the industrial might of the US after its entry into WW2, while also adding units which I found lacking in the base game. It also adds flavor and changes the dynamic of the game. As the balance haven’t been a primary focus when creating the mod, your feedback on the new units is greatly appreciated!

Amphibious Tanks (Amphibious Stuart Tank & Sherman DD)

• Increase offensive and defensive abilities in marsh, amphibious and river terrain

Pack Artillery/support pack artillery

• Compact howitzers with less firepower than regular artillery battalions but with better terrain stats
• Parachutable

• Increased production efficiency for all types of vehicles and equipment when going to war, research bonuses
• One more research slot can be obtained
• Focus on the Superior Firepower Doctrine (Improved combat stats when complete & Improved research time on the superior firepower doctrine)
• Expanded infrastructure focuses
• Increased decryption and encryption research bonuses, research bonuses
• Increased production efficiency for capital and escort vessels, research bonuses
• Focuses for Amphibious Armor
• Women’s Army Corps focus increases the recruitable population by 1%

The mod changes many of the files directly related to USAs national focus tree, ideas and starting technology. It also adds technology to the armor, infantry, and artillery branches. While many of them don’t modify the original files, some do so other mods who directly add or modify the same files may cause compatibility problems.
