More Historical
I am working on an update that will make every single event photo colorized. There are over 800 so expect it to take a while.
This Mod Changes:
Hungary’s flag, Germany’s flag, Japan’s flag, Lithuania’s flag, Brazil’s flag, Peru’s flag, Afghanistan’s flag, and Uruguay’s flag were all altered, or in some cases, fully changed, to the correct historical flag of the time period.
Japan → Empire of Japan, Mengukukuo → Mengjiang, Tanna Tuva → Tuva, and many, many more. The names of other countries have been changed to match the actual official name. For example the Soviet Union goes to the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. All instances of the name are changed and the description of the people are sometimes changed to match reality.
Hitler, FDR’s, and Stalin’s portraits have been changed to look way better. Especially after what the new DLC did to Hitler. The Stalin portraits coat is custom made by me and can be found on r/hoi4portraits. I plan on changing other portraits in the future, so if you want to suggest something reply to this google form with your steam name and request so I can give you credit for the idea. The FDR portrait was made by "TheBolshevikJew" on Reddit, however his account has been suspended and the post was archived.
This mod works with ironman mode and you can achieve achievements. If there is anything unhistorical please let me know! I want this to improve the playing experience and I will research and make sure that my mod is as historical as possible during development. I am always looking for suggestions so please give your opinion in the google form above. I don’t collect your email or anything, I just want ideas to improve the mod.
