Act 1 – The Isle of the Damned – "Two centuries of silence have ended. The British Isles -drowned, glassed, and forgotten by the world that killed them – stir once more with ambition, and the old hungers wake with them. Beneath the ruins of Whitehall, Director-General Vane and his Crown Remnant guard the last shreds of British government: pre-war records, a half-built warhead, and the fading legitimacy of a Crown no one has seen in two hundred years. To the north, behind the walls of York Minster, the Order of the Knights Templar wages a holy crusade – armoured monks who venerate the relics of the old world and dream of raising the Iron Saint to cleanse the Isles of heresy. In London, the merchant-lords of the Gentry rule the City from behind their tolls while civil war burns at its gates. The knights of Camelot ride the western ruins beneath a red dragon. The Admiralty holds the Channel, the Commonwealth the industrial north, and across the Irish Sea the Roundels and the Iron Conclave carve out their own dominions. From the Highlands to the Channel, every warlord, prophet, and pretender believes the Isles are theirs to inherit. The Crown wants restoration. The Order wants purity. London burns once more, and maybe, once more, the sun shall never set on the Empire."
